Celebrate the legacy of the Montreal Expos with this collector series minifigure. Complete with tri-color printed cap, and Cooperstown Collection uniform, it is the perfect link to the Expos heritage. This would have been their 50th season as a team.
The Expos first game was April 8, 1969 in Shea Stadium against the eventual WS Champs NY Mets. Their first game in Montreal was a win over the Cardinals at Jarry Park, their first home. The Expos moved to Olympic Parc in 1977, and played there until they moved to Washington DC to become the Nationals in 2005. They have had Gary Carter and Tim Raines inducted into the Hall of Fame as members of the Expos and great players there include Muary Wills, Pedro Martinez, Randy Johnson and Andre Dawson.
